Usually in Canada we use CARD, the American equivalent is “Standard Rate and Data Service” often referred to as SRDS. There are different versions for different (very broad) subject areas.

Subject: [SERIALST] Number of subscribers to a print journal

Hello,

I'm a long-time SERIALST reader, first-time emailer, and still fairly new to the world of serials.

Can anyone direct me to a resource that would indicate the number of individuals and/or institutions that subscribe to a print journal?  We are trying to find out the number of current subscribers to the Journal of School Leadership (ISSN: 1052-6846).  We did not find this statistic in Ulrich's, the title is not in the MLA Directory of Periodicals, and I could not find this info on the publisher's site.  Information about the title is in EBSCONET (our primary serials vendor), but no subscription stats are listed there.  I emailed the publisher, but so far no response.

I would appreciate any other suggestions on where I might find this info.

Thanks,
