FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats for Libraries – 30% Discount for First Year for Multi-Year Contract
June 25, 2014, Wiesbaden, Germany – HARRASSOWITZ, a major supplier of electronic subscription products and e-books as well as print resources, has announced a significant enhancement to its E-Stats for Libraries service, providing consolidated
usage statistics from COUNTER-compliant online providers.
30% Discount Available
For the new release of the E-Stats Service, HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to provide a 30% discount for the first year of the service for a new multi-year contract. Orders must be placed by October 31, 2014. Please contact service@harrassowitz.de
or your Regional Sales Manager for further details.
What's new?
Customers that have purchased the E-Stats service can now view their usage data from their E-Stats reports at the title record level within OttoSerials Renewal Management. To further enhance the subscription review process, costs per
download for up to three years are also included, along with links to three years of the library's full annual usage statistics reports. This enhancement combines the primary factors needed for review into one easy-to-use evaluation tool, greatly assisting
libraries in making collection development decisions.
E-Stats for Libraries Service
Developed in consultation with library customers, HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats reports provide COUNTER-style Excel spreadsheets including statistics from multiple platforms. Acquisitions information, including PO number, fund codes, and current
order status, is supplied for all resources handled by HARRASSOWITZ. Cost data, both the base price and the amount invoiced, are also added, along with annotations indicating when a title has been ordered as part of a package or combination, giving the library
the best possible picture of the cost per resource, even when the resource is part of a package or combination. The consolidated report also helps libraries identify overlapping subscriptions that can occur when an organization subscribes to multiple packages.
Separate reports are available for non-COUNTER usage statistics.
Libraries may also request the addition of acquisitions and cost data to their COUNTER reports that have been previously consolidated either by themselves or by another service. These reports can also be uploaded into OttoSerials Renewal
Management.
Libraries may include as many platforms as they wish in their HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats service. Reports can be produced annually, semi-annually or quarterly.
Please contact service@harrassowitz.de or your Regional Sales Manager to request a price quote for HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats for your library. If you are attending the American Library Association meeting in Las Vegas, please stop by booth
1650-1651 to find out more.
