As you may know, in 2014 the American Chemical Society is introducing a bold and comprehensive program of Open Access initiatives. The program consists of four main components, many of which are already available:
ACS Central Science - A new, highly selective peer-reviewed journal covering the broad spectrum of chemical sciences—free to readers and authors—to be introduced during 2014.
ACS Editors' Choice - Free public access to new research of importance to the global community—one article every day—available now at
pubs.acs.org/editorschoice
ACS Author Rewards - Published Corresponding Authors receive credits for each article published in 2014, which they can use to fund any ACS open access option through 2017.
