MSU LEETS Emerging Technologies focus: Thursday, August 1st
On Thursday, Matthew Reidsma of Grand Valley State University will offer a keynote on Responsive Web Design for Libraries, followed by additional Steal-This-Idea sessions from your colleagues across the country including Andrew Youngkin, Emerging Technologies Coordinator, National Network of Libraries of Medicine, University of Maryland, Baltimore; Ashley Krenelka, Reference and Electronic Services Librarian, Stetson University, College of Law; Callie Wiygul, Graduate Research Assistant, University of Southern Mississippi; Deborah Lee, Professor/Coordinator/Associate Director, Mississippi State University; Jorge Brown, Access Services Librarian, University of Southern Mississippi; Lauren Dodd Hall, Assistant Systems Librarian, Fairchild Research Information Center; William C. Friedman, Web Services Librarian, University of Alabama; and Brett Spencer, Reference Librarian, University of Alabama.
MSU LEETS eResource focus: Friday, August 2nd
Friday’s NASIG-sponsored eResource focus provides you with a chance to broaden your knowledge of issues surrounding the acquisition, operation, collection, and management of electronic resources in academic libraries. Featured speakers include: Nate Hosburgh, Electronic Resources Librarian, Montana State University, Bozeman; Chris Bulock, Electronic Resources Librarian, Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville; Marie Kennedy, Serials & Electronic Resources Librarian at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA; Lauren Wallis, Reference and Instruction Librarian, University of Montevallo; and Janetta Waterhouse, Director of Library Systems and Technical Services, University of Illinois, Springfield.
There will also be poster sessions held throughout the Summit.
