Director, Content Acquisition and Resource Sharing Program, UC San Diego
Seeking applicants who will bring vision and leadership to the development and management of one of the innovative new programs defined in the UC San Diego Library’s recent
organizational restructuring initiative. The Content Acquisitions and Resource Sharing program will be responsible for providing on–demand access to needed information resources not currently held in the current collections. In addition to excellent communication
and organizational skills, the successful applicant will need an MLS or equivalent; minimum three years supervisory experience; minimum of
three years of experience in the publishing trade or library acquisitions;
experience with integrated library systems, electronic resource management systems, and bibliographic utilities; demonstrated knowledge of resource sharing initiatives in academic library
