Hi.  I’m new to this list (and serials cataloging) and hopeful that someone can help me with an issue I’ve just encountered with the Polaris ILS.

I was just cataloging some arrived periodicals and saw that one had an incorrect date for the issue (over a month off the date on the cover).  So I went in and edited that issue to show the correct date.  Then when I on the list of predicted issues for this title that there were no upcoming issues in January, and then the semimonthly issues expected in February, March, and so on.  So I deleted all of the predicted issues and tried to re-do the prediction to reset the dates.  But, I’ve encountered a problem: the next predicted issue on the list has the same volume/issue number as this one I just checked in today.  I deleted and redid the predict issues several times with the same problem.  Another thing I tried was to add an issue with the volume/issue number that will come next and then tried the predict issues again—same result.  How can I get this to work so that we’ve got an accurate prediction of future arrivals without manually adding the issues twice a month?

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
