I have this sitting on my desk as well – v.37, no.1 2012. The note from our periodicals associate, from Nov.2012, says “EBSCO responded they were not able to locate publisher.”
I will email the editor Michael J. O’Shea and ask him if another issue is likely to see the light of day, and respond to the list if I find anything out either way.

Subject: [SERIALST] Studies in Short Fiction
Does anyone know what has happened to the title Studies in Short Fiction? The publisher suddenly began to send us issues again after not publishing for over ten years, but we only got vol. 37, no. 1 2012. Nothing since. According to
Ebsco, they can’t even locate the publisher, which is apparently Newberry College. I was wondering if anyone had any insight or experience regarding this title, before I cancel it.
