We also have used digital microfilm from Proquest and have very similar experience to Rosana. We have subscribed to Wall Street Journal and New York Times. We are actually canceling our subscriptions because
of low usage but the quality of the product seems to be fine. I certainly prefer it to using the actual film.

Hi Robin,
We have the following newspapers in digital microfilm:
Los Angeles Times
Wall Street Journal
Washington Post
Houston Chronicle
Chicago Tribune
Barron’s
USA Today
Unfortunately, Houston Chronicle is no longer available through ProQuest. They have yet to provide the perpetual access to this newspaper.
The usage is very low but these are only click-thru numbers from Serials Solutions. ProQuest does not provide usage. The prices have been pretty stable. Also,
it’s not a searchable database. This might explain the low usage.
Let me know if you need more info.

Hello,
Is anyone using the Proquest Digital Microfilm and if so would you mind giving feedback on how it has worked out for you? I would appreciate anything you have to offer. Our microfilm budget is very large and we are looking to change or
make major cutbacks.
Thanks, Robin
