I've noticed it off and on since last week. EBSCO did send out an e-mail on Friday about system slowness:

EBSCO A-to-Z® Currently Experiencing Intermittent Slowness Issues – 05 October 2012

Customer Satisfaction has received reports that some customers are experiencing intermittent issues of slowness when accessing EBSCO A-to-Z® Admin and Reader sites. Our technical team is working on this issue as a high priority. We will post an update to the EBSCO Support Site (support.ebsco.com) as a Top Story when resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I haven't heard any updates since then, however.

Subject: [SERIALST] Slowness with EBSCO service

I’m curious to know if anyone else is experiencing slowness with their EBSCO A-to-Z service?  This is affecting both our reader and admin sites.  Sometimes it is so slow the search times out.  This has been going on for a few weeks now and I have already called customer service about it.  Just wondering how widespread the problem is.

Thanks,

Laura
