Hi, Abbigail.

It sound s to me like your best bet might be a complex pattern, but without more information I can’t be sure. If you’d like to reply off-list, I’m sure I can help you.

Subject: [SERIALST] Setting Up a Preditcive Component Pattern in Voyager

Hello everyone,

Our library uses the Acquisitions module of Voyager to manage serials check-in, claims, etc.  However, I have been having trouble setting up a predictive component pattern for items that come five times a year.  The system will number and date the first five issues correctly, but it won’t roll the year over for the next five issues.  So it will create vol.1, nos. 1-5, 2012, but then it will create vol. 2, nos. 1-5 but with 2012 as the year still.  I have not figured out how to get around this issue.  Any help from Voyager users out there?

Thank you,
