Hello Jack,
Since these are U.S. titles and lack ISSN, the U.S. ISSN Center will contact the publisher to get surrogates of the various titles so we can assign ISSN and do any necessary work on the records.
If we cannot obtain surrogates from the publisher, we may call on you to provide them.

Subject: [SERIALST] Title changed (back)?
The first two records below are “pcc.”
OCLC 2246178: Sales & marketing management. 784 04 (“Absorbed by”) SalesForce XP (OCLC 647264826) and the record is closed: 260 c1975-2010. 362 0 Vol. 115, no. 9 (Nov. 17, 1975)-v. 162, no. 1 (Jan./Feb. 2010)
OCLC 647264826: SalesForce XP 780 05 (“Absorbed”) Sales & marketing management. Began in 2003 (and the record is open) Our check-in records show that we have it beginning with v. 8 and continuing throught v. 9, but have no receipts for the current year, which would presumably be volume 10.
We have received a new issue: Sales & marketing management Mar/Apr 2012. Masthead says “Sales & marketing management Volume 10, no. 2 incorporating SalesForce XP is published six times a year.” I do not find an ISSN on the issue (and the record for SalesForce XP does not have an 0022 field).
There is also OCLC 775674796, a K-level record for Sales & marketing management (Excelsior, Minn. : 2012) that has a 580: SalesForce XP has been incorporated into Sales & marketing management effective with the Jan./Feb. 2012 issue. Description based on Vol. 10, no. 1 (Jan./Feb. 2012)
So it appears that SalesForce XP needs to closed out and have a 785 field for the new Sales & marketing management (Excelsior, Minn. : 2012), and the 580 field on that latter record needs to say that it continues the numbering of SalesForce XP.
I am not Conser, so cannot make changes to the OCLC record but think I will do as I outline above in the previous sentence.
Thanks for any help.
Jack
