“The winners of these 2012 awards, who come from commercial, university, and society publishers, are reflective of a large portion of SSP’s membership, and so in part they represent the future of the society and of scholarly publishing overall. The travel grant program, now in its XX year is visible proof of SSP’s continuing commitment to innovation and growth in the scholarly publishing community,” said Terry Van Schaik, President of SSP.

The Society for Scholarly Publishing gratefully acknowledges the generous support provided by the sponsors of the Travel Grants program.  Sponsors of the 2012 awards included the Copyright Clearance Center, Inera's eXtyles, The Rockefeller University Press, and SAGE.
