Hello, everyone. I noticed this morning as I was searching the Serials Solutions knowledgebase that another PubMed Central database, called PubMed Central (NIH Portfolio) is available. It has a different number of full text journals available (about 300 as opposed to the large number in PubMed Central). Some titles that are in PubMed Central (NIH Portfolio) are not in the PubMed Central. I emailed Serials Solutions about what the difference is and they pointed me to an FAQ page that talks about the degree of participation of the publisher in depositing articles. That really means nothing to me. I just want to know if all of the articles are full text and open access. Anyone out there have any information on this?
