<br><b>Lisa German </b>is the Associate Dean for Collections, Information and Access Services at Penn State University Libraries.  Prior to coming to Penn State, she was Head of Acquisitions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently serving on the ALCTS Planning Committee.<br>
<b><br>Sarah Simpson </b>is the Technical Services Manager for the Tulsa City-County Library.  She previously co-moderated an e-forum on communication between Technical and Public Services.  She is currently serving on the ALA Task Force on Transforming Collections, and is also a reviewer for the journal Library Resources &amp; Technical Services.<br>
<br>*What is an e-forum?*<br>An ALCTS e-forum provides an opportunity for librarians to discuss matters of interest, led by a moderator, through the e-forum discussion list. The e-forum discussion list works like an email listserv: register your email address with the list, and then you will receive messages and communicate with other participants through an email discussion. Most e-forums last two to three days. Registration is necessary to participate, but it&#39;s free.
