Since there are still access problems perhaps the company would care to send a response to the still again.  We have changed a number of titles to Internet only orders for 2012b --  so the continued access problems are very disturbing.

Hi,

It's been three weeks since the migration and we continue to experience access problems. Does everyone else have the same problem or is it just us?

Hi,

I do apologize for these inconveniences. Below was sent from our customer service in Germany regarding access issues:

New Platform

The platform launch was unfortunately accompanied by some technical problems, we have already been able to solve many of them.

Redirects from the old to the new platform and DOI links are reliable. More information on the redirects (as well as other topics) can be found in the FAQs (http://www.degruyter.com/page/286).

Institution IPs were transferred, so you should be authenticated and your institution should be identified on the platform. Should this not be the case then please send an email including your current IPs to service@degruyter.com and we will match and update accordingly or identify another cause for this.

Sometimes an error page stating ‘An error has occurred in the application. Please contact support. Thank you for your patience and understanding.’ appears. This does not mean that the content or the page itself is not available, but a bug in the platform while loading a page. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. Please be informed that the ‘Institutional Administration’ section on the new platform is not yet in place. It will be available End of January 2012 and we will inform all previous administrators about the details.

On Friday January 6th a new release of the platform will be pushed live, correcting many problems, and there will be ongoing process of upgrading and enhancing the platform. For all problems concerning access please send an email to service@degruyter.com and we will try to answer as quickly as possible.

Email Technical Issues

If you are receiving a bounced e-mail, please forward it to our IT technician, Cody Anderson at cody.anderson@evenerable.com .  The bounced e-mails will have the diagnostic information we need to make the proper corrections.  Cody is working with our IT colleagues in Berlin to get these communication issues resolved. In the meantime, you can always contact me (contact information below) or Daniela Somary in Sales Support at  857-284-7073 x103  or Daniela.Somary@degruyter.com

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience. We are working diligently to correct these technical issues in a timely manner.

Best regards,

Steve

Hi,
I was able to send an email but no response yet.  Is anyone able to access their de Gruyter content yet? Our institution is recognized, but I get an error when I try to read our journal content.
Thanks
Jenny Lockwood

Hi all,

We have recently tried to email De Gruyter, and have learned that the University of Missouri system blocks these emails as they have De Gruyter on some sort of email blacklist. Have others out there experienced this?
