Hi,
And let me reassure the members here that DeGruyter is very sound financially. In the last six months we have gone through some unprecedented growth with the acquisition of the BE Press journals and Versita, to become the third largest International Open Access
Publisher. In addition, we have just reached a collaboration with Harvard University Press to sell their eBook content globally.
Also, in April we have moved our office from New York to Boston in order to establish a proper editorial department and grow our sales team. Our office staff has more than doubled in the same six months.
DeGruyter has been around since 1749 and is still owned by the DeGruyter family. As we look to continue our growth as a publisher now and in the future we look forward to working with you and expanding our reach into the scholarly community.
If anyone has any further questions about this, please let me know.
Best regards,
Steve Fallon
