Launching Your Star Potential: Leadership for Today’s Libraries - an ALCTS Virtual Midwinter Symposium
If you’ve always wanted to attend one of ALCTS’ outstanding midwinter symposia, here is your chance. Whether or not you plan to attend midwinter in Dallas, you can now enjoy the first annual ALCTS virtual midwinter symposium! Offered in webinar format, the symposium will consist of five one-hour webinars held over a five day period the week of January 9-13, 2012.
Sessions will begin at 11am Pacific, noon Mountain, 1pm Central, 2pm Eastern time and will last approximately 60 minutes.
Leadership in the library and information world takes many forms -- it is not just those in traditional supervisory or managerial roles who lead. Across all organizational levels, individuals exercise leadership through understanding, appreciating, and meeting the needs of those they serve. Librarians, library staff, and information professionals who lead, or aspire to lead, will find this symposium valuable.
The speakers represent a variety of viewpoints, from inside and outside of librarianship.
