ALCTS Cataloging & Classification Section, Copy Cataloging Interest Group
Call for Proposals

The ALCTS Cataloging & Classification Section, Copy Cataloging Interest Group is seeking proposals for presentations at its ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans. The ALCTS CCS Copy Cataloging meeting will be on Saturday, June 25th from 10:30 a.m. – noon.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
·        How to train and to prepare copy catalogers for RDA
·       Cataloging using Elvl 7 and other minimal level records in OCLC
·        Training copy catalogers to create non-MARC catalog records (e.g, Dublin Core)
·        Training and supporting copy catalogers who create original or derived catalog records

Presentations should be about 15 minutes long. Audience questions and discussion will be encouraged after the presentations.
