We experienced the same problem last Tuesday. By the end of the day, it was fixed. I understand it was a problem that affected certain titles for all subscribers.

Subject: Re: [SERIALST] Access question
Last Tuesday, we could not access most of our Highwire journals including BMJ, Oxford, Sage.
We were getting a forbidden error when trying to access the pdf of an article.
I called the Hotline. It give info about outages, etc.
Then I e-mailed their contact email & it worked out.

Subject: [SERIALST] Access question
Are any other institutions out there having problems accessing certain Highwire journals?
Since Friday we have not been able to access, for examples:
Chest
Faseb Journal
Genes & Development
Journal of Leukocyte Biology
Our IT people say it’s a routing issue and they are trying to work it out with the Highwire people.
Just wondering if it’s just us.
Thanks!
