We too loan only to faculty, and I actually just had to determine the replacement cost of some issues. I contacted the publisher & was able to get that information for
some of them. I checked back issue dealers on others, and on one the publisher only sold articles, individually, so I added up the cost of those.
One does what one can. Serials work can be as much art as science.
