You are invited to participate in an online survey. The title of this survey is:
“A Survey of the Experiences of African Librarians in American Academic Libraries”.
This survey is intended for African librarians who have relocated to United States of America.
For the purpose of this survey, African librarian will refer to a person born in Africa, who emigrated after the age of eighteen and currently resides in the USA and who possesses educational credentials that qualify him or her to work professionally as a librarian in the US and/or Africa.
Responding to this survey constitutes informed consent to participating in the research. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project nor will there be any direct benefit to you. This is an entirely anonymous questionnaire that will take approximately five minutes to complete. Your responses will not be identifiable in any way. All responses are confidential and will be kept in a secure manner. Your participation is voluntary and you may withdraw from the project at any time. The results of this survey are intended for publication.
