Hi,
We have recently removed compact
shelving from our Periodicals floor to create space for a learning
commons. We are considering taking our more popular magazines out of the “Current
Periodicals” section and displaying them out in the learning commons area
on slanted typed shelving to display them better.
I’m wondering about potential
storage problems. We currently keep unbound issues of titles such as
Time, Newsweek, etc. until the microfilm reel is received. For those of
you that have the slanted type periodical shelves, how many issues can you store
behind the slanted shelves?
Thanks,
Mindy
