Current Scholarship Program:  176 titles from 19 Publishers will be Available for the 2011 Subscription Year

We are very pleased to announce that nine new publishers have recently joined the Current Scholarship Program.  Thanks to the participation of these new partners and the ten publishers that have already partnered with JSTOR in the Program, libraries will be able to license and provide their users with access to the current issues of 176 journals on the JSTOR platform beginning in 2011.

The publishers that recently joined the Program include:

·American Society of International Law

·Australian and New Zealand Society of the History of Medicine

·Australian Society for the Study of Labour History, Inc.

·The Classical Association of the Middle West and South

·The Historical Society of Pennsylvania

·Mathematical Association of America

·Oregon Historical Society

·Penn State University Press

·Trustees of Indiana University on behalf of its Department of History

Together, these publishers bring a highly regarded and diverse body of scholarship to the Program, particularly in the disciplines of history, law, literature, math, and the classics.   Specific titles include the Classical Journal, one of the most important and influential journals in the study of Greco-Roman antiquity, and the American Journal of International Law, an essential publication for the fields of international law and international relations.  Other notable additions to the Program include the Mathematical Association of America’s journals, which are widely recognized as core publications in the field of mathematics at the undergraduate level.

We are very excited to have these publishers working with us to improve access to current journal content. By working with our publisher partners to add current issues to JSTOR, we further our commitment to serve the needs of libraries, faculty, and students.
