Expected Results:  Serials history should initially sort by issue_id, with column headings Issue Identification or Receive date available as re-sort options by clicking the column headers.  Additionally, using the column header to re-sort results should only affect the sort order for the component currently being viewed.

Actual Results: When clicking on Serials History from Check-In, issues can be re-sorted by Issue Identification or Receive Date (this is improved from Issue 18545); however, the sort doesn't actually order correctly.  The easiest way to see this is to bring up a component that has issues with receive dates spanning all twelve months.  If you sort by Receive Date, you'll see that October, November and December receive dates fall between January and February, for example.

Additionally, this new re-sort order will incorrectly be applied to any future component histories you look at until you either launch a new session, or hit Clear Workspace.

Workflow Implications: Confusing for operators.

Replication steps:

1. Go To Acquisitions>Check-In>Serials Check-In 2. Search for and bring up a component (preferably a daily or monthly subscription pattern) 3. Click on Serials History 4. Click on the Receive Date column header to sort by date

Note that the issues don't sort correctly by date.

5. Search for a different component and click History You'll note that the initial sort for the new component is the re-sort option you picked when viewing the last component, instead of the correct initial sort of issue_id.
