To all novice planners and organisers.

Having a go at planning or organising is a great way to learn more about orienteering and to get to know your fellow members of MDOC.
Do not feel too intimidated by the idea.  There will always be a mentor available to support a novice planner or organiser.
There is lots of well organised information available to help you structure the event and MDOC members always do offer to lend a hand on the day.

Orienteering is a sport which really does depend on all those who enjoy the sport lending a hand and taking some responsibility to help put events on,
but that way you learn much more about how to be a better orienteer.

If you think you could have a go let Sue know, and you can be helped to do the job.
