There is a blast from the past - my first job was with Manco Softwares in the IoM !

I was wondering about
M+DOC or M&DOC

or maybe

Manchester Orienteering (MDOC)

Of course the way our club boundaries are (and to avoid conflicts with other clubs) maybe

Southern Manchester and Northern Cheshire Orienteering (MDOC)
or Manchester, South Side and Cheshire, Northern Part as we used to say in textual control descriptions

or the even more obvious
Manchester and District Orienteering Club (MDOC)
or is that too many characters?
