Please do keep the veteran international orienteering world informed.
The update today is that Jill is out of the High Dependency Unit and in a
"normal" trauma ward. Her torso is not mobile but she stood up briefly and
can move her limbs and do breathing exercises if she takes enough morphine.
She is talking more or less normally.
She is trying to respond to e-mails on a laptop that I carry to and from the
hospital  - not sure yet how many keystrokes she can manage.
