Hi Chris and all,

I don’t need one but I do really recommend these torches.  I’ve got the ‘orienteering set’ – it’s super bright, can be unclipped and mounted as a bike headlight and is still going strong after 8-10 years.  I’ve bought about 3 other sets as presents for friends over the years.  Battery life is about 8 hours on weakest power setting (which is still very bright).

Cheers,

Clare

BrightBikeLights the sponsor of the North West Night League are offering a 10% discount on orders over £300. See message below.

For most this will mean that club members will need to coordinate their orders.

If you are interested, then I am prepared to coordinate any MDOC orders to see if we can collectively get them above £300.

To give people time to consider and to browse their website I will suggest the 30th November as a deadline for getting your requests to me.

I know this misses the first event but that is only a few days away.

"Now that the clocks have gone back and we are faced with dark evenings even earlier, BrightBikeLights (sponsor of the North West Night League) has announced that a process has been set up to help clubs to place group orders on behalf of their membership and earn significant discounts.  A discount of 10% is available on the entire range of excellent headlights and bike lights at BrightBikeLights.com on orders valued over £300.  Clubs placing these orders can then pass the discount directly to their members.  The code to be used when ordering is 'BRIGHTBIKELIGHTS300'.  BrightBikeLights is offering a range of headlights aimed directly at fulfilling the needs of night runners and Orienteers - please look on BrightBikeLights.com https://www.brightbikelights.com/ for details.  Please contact Trevor at BrightBikeLights if any more details are required of this offer (email admin@BrightBikeLights.com)."
