The seemingly long and wet winter is slowly giving way to spring like weather which means that the summer programme of evening orienteering swings into motion starting with Macclesfield Forerst

on Tuesday April 15th.

Two weeks after Macclesfield the 12th Annual Lyme Park Series of Introductory Events in Lyme Park starts and continues each week for 3 weeks and then is followed by a fuller colour coded event.

The objective of the series is to provide a number of events suitable to newcomers who wish to have a go at the sport in an ideal setting in a short space of time.The series is then

backed  by a programme of locally situated summer evening events.

In recent years the club has encouraged juniors and less experienced orienteers to plan the introductory events.This has proved to be very successful so if you fancy doing some planning please get in touch.

COURSES: Each week- White,Yellow,Orange,Light Green
