The seemingly long and wet winter is slowly giving way to spring like weather which means that the summer programme of evening orienteering events swings into action starting with Macclesfield Forest

on Tuesday April 15th.

Two weeks after the Macclesfield event the 12th Annual Lyme Park Series of Introductory Events in Lyme Park starts and continues each week for 3 weeks and then is followed by a fuller colour coded event.

The objective of the introductory series is to provided a number of events suitable to newcomers wishing to have a go at the sport over a short space of time in an ideal setting.The series is then

backed up  by a programme of locally situated summer evening events.

In recent years the club has encouraged juniors and less experienced orienteers to plan the introductory events. This has proved to be very successful so if you fancy doing some planning please get in touch .
