A bit of background for those who may not know what this means:

MDOC has a number of juniors who belong to the North West Junior Squad. The squad are raising funds for their training camp in Norway later this summer and one of the most successful and reliable fund raising activities is running cake stalls at local orienteering events.

There are two ways in which MDOC club members can help this weekend.

Firstly, we invite you to come and try our range of excellent home baked cakes.

Secondly, would you be able to bake some cakes for us to sell? The northern clubs aren't taking part in this CSC heat and therefore we will be missing some of our normal cake suppliers. We will hopefully have lots of hungry customers from DVO and NOC and we don't want to miss out on this opportunity. Any donations should be brought to registration on Sunday morning where the NWJS members will be manning the stall.

I would have made this request personally at tonights Wednesday run, but unfortunately the travel disruption this evening means that I didn't make it....
