Many thanks for your offers of Help over the last few weeks.
Attached is a first go at allocating helpers to jobs and hence start times. Early Help = Late Run and vice versa. I have tried to satisfy preferences where possible and sensible. A brief description of Timings is given. I hope I have not deployed helpers to the Far Start who are going to run from the near start 8/ etc.
Please see if this would work for you and let me know. I am more than happy for people to swap jobs, but if you swap shifts (early/late) Vicky needs to know ASAP !!!
WHAT I NEED NOW Please is a volunteer(s) from one of the Early Jobs (Parking, Start Near & Start Far) to act as TEAM LEADER. I’ll be expecting to handover the instructions inc layouts and roles etc and necessary equipment to you at Registration and let you loose. Other helpers will then have to liase with the team leader on the day.
We can do some of this the day before if anyone is available ? Both the Planner and Organiser will be at Philips Park on the Saturday 15th to explain.
PARKING – there is space in the Barn car park for over a dozen helpers cars at Registration/Download which is at the Conservation Barn. Registration Takes priority, so it makes sense to get as many MDOC helpers in here as possible, with the exception perhaps of the Parking Team who might like to be in the thick of it. Start Teams might like to pick up equipment first and then drive down to the end of the Lower Car Park. Very important. Please don’t park outside the residential property which is just past the Barn !!!
