Currently I have only 31 of you who have responded back to me to confirm that you are able to participate in the CSC this year....this is in comparison to 57 entries last year! THERE IS STILL TIME FOR ME TO RECIEVE REQUESTS FROM MEMBERS WHO WISH TO ENTER (the club generously pays your entry for this event!).....so please get back to me ASAP if you wish to be added to the attached list (I have not allocated courses yet but I will have to do so very soon as entries are due by Feb 7th.

You knew it was coming. As expected we will require a decent turn out of helpers coupled with a complicated system of shifts in order to put on a good event and still maintain our competitive edge !
To that end, I would ask you all please to offer some help on the day – and offer as soon as you can - we will juggle things to ensure you all get a run (if you want).
If you have a task preference please advise and I will try to allocate accordingly, but we do need a good few out in the woods.
Parking – this is fiddly and needs a few more early on; (Late Runs)
Registration & Download (Indoors);
Starts (near and far);
Finish (next to car park);
Control Collection – as many as possible please. (Early Runs)
Jury – volunteers from Grade B or Grade C (2 Years) controllers just in case we need some reserves please ?
Particularly useful would be those who are not running and would be available the whole day ? Key jobs here include supervising the parking, starts or collecting in controls at the end.
