The venue is immediately west of Macclesfield General Hospital, on the south side of Victoria Rd, with access for cars being through a gap in a 2m high stone wall.
The words ‘Macclesfield Bowling Club’ are also on the gate posts.

Parking arrangements
There is parking for 30-40 cars just inside the cricket club grounds, mostly on the left as you drive in, with space for just a few cars on the right.
To maximise the number of cars we can accommodate on site, please park neatly, and follow the directions of the parking marshal.
When the available parking spaces are taken up, it is possible to park on Victoria Road itself (avoid the double-yellow lines!), or preferably along The Whitfields (entrance is almost opposite the cricket club off Victoria Road). Please note this is a residential road, so make sure you don’t block access to the houses. Thanks!
A couple of safety reminders :
Please be very careful driving into the Car Park as this entrance will be used by competitors, and .....
After the event, if parked within the Cricket Club grounds, please take care when driving out on to Victoria Road, as visibility to the right is restricted!
[Mike G has suggested the following alternative parking arrangements : On Road parking is also available on Fieldbank Road, (known to the MDOC Wed run fraternity as the road leading to Jan Ellis' House). Head N on Fieldbank Road, but where Fern Lea Drive bears left go Straight Ahead for 50m to Entrance to Orthopedic Dept, turn left and continue through Hospital Car Park to Gate leading to Cricket Club Pavilion. Please note all the Hospital Car Parks are either Staff Permit only or 24Hour Pay and Display Car Parks (£2 required)].
Registration
Registration will be located in the cricket club pavilion. From parking, follow the road round the left of the cricket pitch.
The pavilion is a single-storey building to the right of the changing rooms which are currently being rebuilt. It is a smallish space, but we have the sole use for the evening.
Food and Drink
The bar will be open for us, and refreshment opportunities will include a real ale from the Storm Brewery in Macclesfield.
We have arranged for hot food to be available: one veggie dish (veggie lasagne with garlic bread) and one non-veggie dish (hotpot with crusty bread and red cabbage), both @ £4/head.
What to do now!
As usual, we need to get a reasonable estimate of numbers for map printing, and, for this event we also need to provide the caterers with final numbers of those who plan to eat after the event by Saturday 1st February. So ...
Please contact me by 10pm on Friday 31st January to reserve your map(s) AND food - clearly indicating whether you would like the veggie lasagne or non-veggie hotpot.
Thanks
