	POTOC Future Events Details of exciting POTOC Events coming soon!

		The POTOC Summer Parks Series may now have concluded for 2018, however there are still plenty more POTOC events on the horizon. It is going to be an exciting year fall with the Hanley Urban Event taking place in September which is part of the UK Urban League. We also have the annual score event at Park Hall and still find time to visit Berry Hill and Stone. There will also be a collection of urban summer training events - which makes it a busy and exciting time for POTOC. As ever our website will contain information on all our events and activities, however don't forget to follow our social media pages which have been growing quickly over the year. Next Event : Parkhall Score and BBQ The annual POTOC score event followed by BBQ returns for another year. This event as with all our events is open to everyone. So why not bring the family along and enjoy the delights of orienteering. Date : Sunday 12th August 2018 Time : 60 Minute Score Event Registration from 10am Mass start at - 11am Post Code : ST3 5BH Typical Courses Available: All competitors use the same map. Some Easy controls suitable for Juniors. Cost : £5 adults, £2.50 concessions (£1 discount for POTOC members) Event Information : Everyone welcome to a BBQ afterwards, which also includes Summer Park League Awards Presentation. Signposted from Park Hall Road (the B5040 from Hanley to Weston Coyney). From Weston Coyney (off the A520) turn right into Hulme Road after 1km. From Hanley follow the signs towards Weston Coyney from the A52 and turn left 0.6km after the gasholder by the mini-roundabout. After 0.6km turn right off this minor road into the car park. Hanley Urban This event is part of the UK Urban League and will be busy. Registration is via Fabian 4 - which if you have not used it before is quick and easy to complete. Date : Sunday 9th September Registration Time : 10am - 12pm Start Time : 10.30am - 12.30pm Post Code : ST1 6BB Typical Courses Available: Seven Courses based on the normal UKUL age classes Cost : Pre-Entry via Fabian4 Seniors £8 (+£2 for non-BOF members) Juniors £2.50 EOD Seniors £10 (+£2 for non-BOF members) Juniors £3 Event Information : Parking and Assembly is in Central Forest Park, Hanley Directions: From City Centre, take the B5047 Town Road off the A50 Potteries Way towards Smallthorne, Central Forest Park is a short way on the left. It can easily be reached on foot from the City Centre or by one of the many buses that run along Chell Street. The park has National Cycle Network Route no. 55 running through the centre, and links with the Burslem to Cobridge greenway to the North and the NCN Route 5 to the South.
