Hi Everyone,

I have had five people register for a first aid course on the 16th or 30th of November.

We do need to have more first aiders in the club, and we need more to do the course for it to be financially viable.

There is no charge for MDOC members who are willing to be first aiders at events.

It is also open to older juniors, 16 plus, great addition to your c.v.

MDOC needs to have a good crew of qualified first aiders who can take this responsibility at local events and possibly assist at bigger events.
 In practice this usually means being the named person about two or three times a year. 
 Those of us who trained three years ago have certificates which are now about to run out and MDOC is planning to put on another one day course in the next few months.
 If you are willing to do this please let me, Margaret Gregory know, and tell me whether you would prefer a Saturday or a Sunday. The course will not be timed to clash with an attractive O event.
 
 If you have a first aid certificate from work or other volunteering and are willing to be called on please let me know and send a scanned copy of the certificate.
