hello all

I met a member of the Rucksack  Club today who informed me that Ted Dance has died. Ted was at the meeting which formed MDOC in 1965 and he was elected as our first Chairman . He held this post for 3 years.Ted lived in Chapel-en-le Frith and his funeral will be held there on Tuesday 28th May. I have no further details but I hope some members of MDOC will be able to attend.

If anyone obtains full details about the funeral will they please let me know as I am not sure that the Rucksack Club source will remember to contact me again!
