Hi Margaret
Is it £95 per person or £95 for the club? I do think it needs some discussion.I would have thought that the committee should have been informed before it was put out on simplelists.
Cheers
Pete

Subject: [MDOC] Community Orienteering Leaders Award 19th May in Stockport

Hi All,

Apologies for not sending this sooner.

I am organising a Community Orienteering Leaders Award on the Sunday 19th of May in the Stockport area

The idea behind it is to get more leaders for the Hazel Grove club night and to take the burden off Dave and Alex.

If we can 6 people through then it would mean that each leader would only need to organise a session every half term or so making it much less of a chore for everyone.

The course is not assessed. You only need to turn up and once you have done it you can then start organising and leading sessions at the club night and you will be insured to so so through British Orienteering.

The minimum age is 16 so this may also appeal to some of the more junior members who turn up to club night.

Although there is a minimal amount of theory, the day is largely practical and fun.

The venue is not yet confirmed but the course will run from 9am until 5pm and you will need to bring a packed lunch.

Although we have a couple of people from DEE who have already expressed an interest we need a minimum of 6 to run the course.

Please let me know by Friday 3rd of May at the latest if you want to come.

The cost is £95 but traditionally the club has covered the cost of volunteer training.

I look forward to being overwhelmed with your responses.

Kind regards

Dan
