Just a reminder that this year's New Year Social and Club Awards Presentation is on Saturday 12th January at High Lane Village Hall, Windlehurst Road, High Lane, SK6 8AB from 5pm onwards.

Everyone welcome - why not bring a friend too!

Arrive from 5pm onwards and try some of the fiendish puzzles and quizzes on offer before the buffet starts at about 6pm – offering a choice of three hot dishes, together with jacket potatoes, salads, etc, followed by a dessert. Squash, tea and coffee are provided but you are welcome to bring your own wine, beer etc.

This is followed by the presentation of club awards including: Most Promising Newcomer, Most Improved Member, Team of the Year, Junior Male Orienteer of the Year, Junior Female Orienteer of the Year, Senior Male Orienteer of the Year and Senior Female Orienteer of the Year.

The evening concludes with a ceilidh accompanied by the excellent 'Stepping Stones' band.

The cost is subsidised by the club and is just £5, or £2.50 for under 16’s. Payment can be made on the night, but please let me know you are coming (as soon as possible, please) so that we can cater accordingly.
