You will be saddened to hear of the death of Dave Holmes on Wed 21^st November in Bristol after a long battle with cancer.   I’m sure you and Rae will remember Dave from his days with MDOC.  I would be grateful if you could pass this to anyone who would have known him in your Club, and may wish to write to his wife Jan and daughters Rachael and Ruth. I have been asked to make some reference to his life as an Orienteer at a memorial service, and I would be grateful if any of your members have any memories of his orienteering with MDOC to supplement the valuable contribution he made to our club, Quantock Orienteers.

I hope you will forgive my contacting you, but yours is the only familiar name on the MDOC website – mainly because of the links we had with Killian through Jo Craddock while in Liverpool!
