Subject: Lake District 5 Day Event - 2014

 
At the Club Delegate Meeting on 13th October it was agreed that:-
- in the first instance the Exec would seek a volunteer to act as Event Co-ordinator of the Lake District 5 Day Event in 2014,
- if that was unsuccessful, the Exec would advertise a paid Event Director post.
 
Since then I have had communications with a sizable number of people who were suggested as possibilities but this failed to find anybody to take on the volunteer Event Co-ordinator role. Therefore, the Exec is now advertising the paid post of Event Director - see the attachment.
 
I would be grateful if you would make this advert available as widely as possible, particularly to anyone who you think might be interested. As we need to be make speedy progress, applications need to be made to me before 2nd Dec.
