The Northern Rocket weekend will take place on Sat 15 July and Sun 16 July. This will be jointly run by MDOC and DEE with MDOC running a two part urban sprint in the complex part of Birchwood, near Warrington and DEE running the British Mixed Sprint relays at Edge Hill University campus in Ormskirk. Both events can be entered at Fabian4.co.uk.

 

I am the organiser for the Birchwood event and am calling for volunteers to help.

 

The Birchwood event will consist of two short sprint races, the second following on immediately after the first and results based on the total time for the two races. There will be two starts and two finishes with the two races overlapping each other at the same time. Although many helpers will be able to have an early or late run, for some jobs this will not be possible in the time frame so I am particularly looking for people who are willing to help but not actually run.
