Dear All,

The third in the series of Countryside Score events ventures up into the hills around Hayfield.
The Royal Hotel in Hayfield, will be the base for the event on 28th June. The event has been planned by one of the planners of the highly acclaimed British Orienteering Championships earlier this year. It's likely the map scale will be different to the first 2 events, to allow for the hills and the size of the area in use.

Registration from 6.30 and start at 7.15.
Run for 60 or 90 minutes and find as many of the checkpoints as possible using an extract from an OS Map, footpaths, lanes and quiet roads, answering simple questions at each checkpoint.
To reserve a map (advised) please mail us here on  Score2017@mdoc.org.uk

Under 16s must be accompanied. Dogs allowed on run, on leads and in the pub garden (but not the pub itself)
The Royal offer a varied menu .Especially if you are doing 90 minutes we suggest you order before starting and make sure you judge the time well.
