I’d just like to say thank you to all those who went out and dragged in the controls on Saturday.  (I’ve already, separately, thanked those who did other jobs on the event.)

I can’t thank you individually because the volunteers appeared, collected the controls, and disappeared again within the time it took me to disassemble the signage, so I didn’t actually get to see who you were.

I believe (because they approached me beforehand), that the above included Steve Dempsey, Liam Corner, Jillyan Dobby and Peter Ross, but I can’t help thinking that there were probably others, of whom I remain unaware, but to whom I must extend the same gratitude.

As Pete said, while locking up the church: “That must be the earliest we’ve ever got everything back into stores after an event”.
