I happened to notice in the
Westmorland Gazette this week that some small parcels of the
woodland around Hoathwaite that MDOC have used in the past are
being auctioned this week, presumably leading to a change in
ownership that it may be worth MDOC being aware of, as and
when it is (hopefully) used again.
The auction particulars are
attached with a detailed plan on page 6 showing the 3 Lots.
I don't know if anyone within
MDOC takes a particular interest in the Torver Common area but
perhaps you can pass it on as appropriate,
