Dear voluntary and community sector colleagues,

We’d like you to take part in a major new survey of the voluntary sector in, Greater Manchester and the rest of Northern England.  Its purpose is to get a good understanding of the mood of the sector and to see how it is preparing for the future in a period of significant social and economic change.

It only takes 15 minutes to complete and you won't need to check up any facts and figures to do it - hopefully you'll find it quite interesting too.

Whether you are a large or small organisation or group, whether you are thriving, struggling or going along as normal we need you need to complete the survey so that a comprehensive picture can be built on how the voluntary sector is faring in Greater Manchester and the North West more widely.

Please could you also forward the email to people you know in the voluntary and community sector and to social enterprises to help us get the best possible set of responses.

If you click this link, it will take you straight to the survey questionnaire – where you can find more detail on who is doing the work and why: https://durham.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/third-sector-trends-in-north-west-england-2016

When the results are all in, we’ll have a much better picture of the situation in our area – and this will be followed up in September in the survey by Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisations to get much more detail on how things are shaping up in our area.

With best wishes

Tony
