MDOC SUMMER SOCIAL & MDOC/DEE CHALLENGE

Saturday 1^st September       Savio House, Bollington

Registration from 11:00 a.m. for Mass Start at 12:00 noon

The event will be on the newly mapped grounds of Savio House in Bollington.

The courses will comprise a series of loops, with interesting opportunities for scoring bonus points.

The M/W12- course will not be in the mass start, but can be run any time from 12:10 onwards.

Anyone may run up a group but will not be competitive if they run down.

In addition there will be a Sprint event after the main competition.

Orange and Yellow level courses will also be available throughout the day.

The estate comprises open fields with sheep grazing (please close all gates behind you), and some areas of woodland.  The gardens around the house consist of a number of buildings, formal gardens, sports pitches and old farm buildings.

Refreshments (cold buffet) will be served after the event (about 1:15), including soft drinks.  If you prefer something stronger please bring your own.

We have the use of a Barn that contains a games room and showers.

Dogs are allowed on leads in the grounds around the house but not on courses.

Savio House is on Ingersley Road at the Northern end of Bollington.  The entrance to the drive is opposite the Poacher’s Inn (GR 942778).  Use postcode SK10 5RE for satnav.

There is no charge for the event.

We would also welcome offers of help with the main event.  Helpers will be able to tour the estate by doing the Orange level course and/or the Sprint later in the day.
