Final details are at:- http://www.noc-uk.org/Documents/2015/CSCFinalDetails.pdf  and the mappers and planners notes are definitely worth a read.  I believe the area has a ‘grid iron’ pattern and I remember an occasion I miscounted the paths and got in the wrong ‘block’….beware….there are notes about the paths and there may be a few unmarked ones visible on the ground but not on the map (eg due to deer or bikers)…therefore it could be possible to miscount paths…distance judgment and/or pacing could be useful especially from attack pts into ‘bingo’ controls…etc

There are a number of controls close together towards the beginning and end of the courses - please check your codes.

And:-

All CSC courses apart from Orange and the Short Green will have a spectator control c1.5km from the end of the course. Please support your team mates.

To all Team Captains

NOC is looking forward to welcoming you to Sherwood Pines on Sunday. If you have any last minute queries about entries/start times please contact Michael Napier. On the day of the event, registration / download is in the large classroom for SI hire and any last minute changes/substitutions.

For all other queries please contact me, especially if you intend to travel in a bus/coach. I need to notify any bus/coach parking to the Forestry Commission office by Friday.

The final details have been updated to include details about the Compass Point shop, map scale, call up and the fact that the start lists are very full and late arrivals at the start may have to wait a long time to be slotted in. We do not want start times to go beyond 1pm.

Please also note that there is space for club tents near the finish, the car park is pay & display £4 / £6 for cars/minibuses and water will not be provided at the finish.
