Hi All.....RE-JK RELAY TEAM ENTRIES....

You have received Stephen F’s email and spreadsheet re-JK Relay helpers.....and with regards to relay team entries he said..... “..... hopefully be possible to enter a small number of competitive teams (mainly juniors I guess).  To enable this I have grouped likely team members into similar roles and will leave it up to them to organise and coordinate shifts accordingly and discuss entry with Vicky Thornton.”

I will be making the following entries (see below) to allow the (mainly) interested juniors to run competitively and also give any adults the opportunity to send me their name BY THIS SATURDAY PM LATEST if you would like to take up a place/space and have a run in one of the 3 MDOC adhoc teams I have entered.  (I can change the class if I get 3 men/women etc applying....the main thing is I get your responses ASAP to meet the entry deadline!).

I need to alert you to the fact that should you take a place on a team you need to realise that your job comes first and you may end up running either competitively or non-comp depending on whether or not people in your helping team are able to cover for you or not at the critical time....ie: you may end up running at any time of day or in the mini mass start....so if you are not fussed about that then by giving me your name you will at least have a map to collect enabling you to run a course.  (Also if you find yourself in a non-comp team then it may or may not be possible for your team times to be added up and displayed on the results board so as long as you know that then you know as much as me!).....

.....to sum up if you are relaxed and just want to have a run at some point then it’s better to give me your name.  If you are not at all bothered about running on the relay day then please don’t give me your name!...
