Thanks Clare. If there's any vaguely leaf-type shapes that tessellate, that would be my choice for the blobs. I can't find any on tessellations.org though. Of course, square O-kite shapes tessellate.

I think that’s a brilliant idea!  I voted for a tree/forest and cityscape but I think John’s idea is better.

Best regards,

Clare

Trevor,

I haven't got the time to sketch a design before we're off on our travels, but I was thinking along the lines of an attempt to create a dappled sunlight effect (giving total camouflage in sunlit forests). eg. a pointilliste effect with darker blobs at the bottom and brighter white/yellow/light green blobs at the top. It looks like there's lots of greens and yellows to use. Design would be the same front and back.

Subject: [MDOC] New Club Kit

Hi All - those of you quick off the mark will already have spotted the link on the club web site asking for your thoughts on new club kit. The committee have been discussing this for a while now and want to move swiftly to a conclusion based on the views of the membership. As the document on the web site describes we believe we have found a supplier who can provide such kit and also wind tops (like those that SYO/OD members wear).

It would be really great if you could all spend a little time completing the questions in the document and adding any additional comments you might have. For those of you with an artistic bent you can even help us come up with a design if you cut/paste the images into a drawing tool like Paint or similar, hand drawing/colouring would also be fine.

So that we can move forwards we ask that your responses are sent back before the end of the month so that they can be collated and discussed at the next committee meeting. Please reply direct to this email.

I've attached a couple of noddy ideas to stimulate your thoughts. The idea with the forest is that it would somehow be printed across the entire back section, I just can't stretch the image in that way with Paint.

The links to the document are on the web site but I've included them here as well.

Thanks in anticipation for your time and replies
